This was the first Happy's PIzza I ever experienced. One fateful day at work we received a menu, and since I work with the pickiest pizza eaters ever, we decided to try something new. Flash forward 2 years and we are still ordering from Happy's. Yesterday my coworker tempted me because she wanted their Giant Stuffed Cheese Bread, which really is divine, and only $5.00 during lunch hours! I decided to partake in ordering a small round pizza with pineapple on it, also for $5.00. I did indulge my gluttonous desires and add the garlic butter cheese crust for an extra $0.50. It was a perfect change from the typical Taco Bell routine and really was the perfect size for a large lunch. I always feel like lunch is best when it's about $5.00--it makes it easier to justify, because it's an entire meal for the price of a latté! Bonus! The consistency of their round pizza is pretty average. Fluffier crust, thinner pie, savory sauce, and delectable cheese. I think their pizza is pretty standardly good, regardless of locale. They may not have the most exotic toppings, but what they do have is pretty standard. If pizza isn't your thing, they also serve seafood, ribs, and sandwiches--they really do have a crazy huge menu! The workers at Happy's are always pretty perky. I like when pizza people are perky. During college the people who worked at the Little Caesar's always seemed one pepperoni away from suicide. . . it wasn't the happiest place to pick up dinner on the fly. I also will say that the restaurant also always seems very clean. I would happily recommend throwing Happy's into the fold of lunch options along Orchard Lake Rd.

I've been ordering from this location for 3 years and dining in since their renovation into a sports bar. Sad to say, my last experience was utterly dismal. My wife and I went in to watch the 49ers game and were one of only a few tables and a modest crowd at the bar for most of the afternoon, so it's not like they were busy. For no apparent reason, there were consistently at least 15 to 20 minute waits after beers were emptied before the waitress would even address us, then another ten or more minutes to actually receive the drinks. They went to the trouble of printing out a revised beer list as of the 14 of September, and of course, the first beer I ordered "Wasn't on tap yet" on the 21st (are they really that lazy that they can't hook up a keg for a week even for a football Sunday?) until two hours later. The waitress would consistently come to our table, ask how we were, then abruptly walk away before we could order anything. My wife ordered a quite lousy bloody mary that had almost no vodka in it, then a half-lemonade, half-iced tea with raspberry vodka (we call it a raz Daly), and they forgot the lemonade, and that took another twenty minutes or so to rectify, which the waitress split the now-watered down drink of melted ice into two glasses and added lemonade, which we said would be been fine, except that she didn't add any vodka into the second glass, so it became an even weaker. My wife then ordered a coffee cocktail, which the waitress promptly forgot, then replied she would brew some coffee (what kind of restaurant doesn't have coffee brewed?), which then took at least another fifteen minutes. There were literally periods of about a half hour where no one would check on us. At one point, fifteen minutes elapsed without any waitstaff, bartender or manager anywhere on the floor. We started with orders of chili cheese fries and wings. The wings took about twenty minutes and they forgot our chili cheese fries. They forgot to bring wing sauce, then brought the wrong sauce, before we finally got the right stuff while the wings sat getting cold for about fifteen minutes. I ordered a cup of chicken chili, which used to be pretty good, but they changed it somehow and it's now pretty lousy. They did not take it off the check. We tried to order a burger, which is supposed to come with garnish of lettuce, tomato, and a pickle, medium-rare with a side of onion rings. We received a well-done burger sans garnish with a side of French fries. They did take this off the check after we complained. We asked to see a manager, which never happened, got fed up and finally left. I really want to like this place and we gave them every chance to take care of us, but they literally could not have screwed up worse if they tried. Unfortunately, if they don't care to remedy their precipitous drop-off in service and ridiculously low standards they maintain, then I no longer care to spend my money there. If you enjoy receiving correct orders in anything resembling a timely manner, steer clear.

If you are desperate, I mean like everything else is closed and you might suffer from starvation, you can make a fuel stop here. The ribs are passable. The pizza is an embarrassment and the fried chicken is greasy. The sandwiches are of low quality. The salads are of the iceberg only variety and the menu in general fits the lowest common denominator of fast food takeout places. You can eat there, but why?

Always leave 'em smiling, I just love the name of this place. I have that catchy jingle in my head...."Get Happy...dah, da, dah, da, dah " OK, it's late night(don't laugh, 9:00) and my wife and I are coming home from a birthday party that only had cake and ice cream. Since we already had our sugar buzz going we wanted to come down with a late night snack/dinner. With so many different places to go in the area we decided to give this place a try. Snack: Chu-Batta Sandwich- ITALIAN Ham, salami, mortadella, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, mild peppers, mayo and Italian dressing. Get it toasted. It came with a side of fries. Not bad, just not the best. - 3 Stars My wife had the fried Shrimp. She said it was pretty good, the same as me, good, just not the best. She became a fan when she discovered they had her favorite iced tea. This place is worth another try some day. I would like to try a pizza and my wife said she would like to try the ribs.

Went to Happys tonight and first was impressed with the atmosphere. They really did a great job designing the place. I was so disappointed with our meal. The food was mediocre at best. I think they went to the local grocery store and picked up the crappiest frozen food and served it at their resturaunt. I asked to speak with the manager and he couldn't be bothered. I won't be back.

I have ordered pepperoni pizza and a fried chicken "snack" dinner from this Happy's location. This place does not fit the bill for me when it comes to pizza at all. The crust was too sweet and bready in a way that reminded me of elementary school cafeteria pizza. Then, the flavor of the sauce did not go well with the too-sweet crust. The pizza was too cheesy, bordering on rubbery, but at least the pepperoni was good. Delivery was fast enough for me, though I can't recall how long it took. Then, I had a craving for fried chicken. There are few dedicated fried chicken places around these parts, since KFC moved out of the strip mall on Orchard Lake Road, and the one I do know about got bad Yelp reviews, so I decided to see what Happy's offered besides pizza. It turns out they have a menu full of fried things, like chicken, fish, and French fries. I placed my carry out order for the small fried chicken dinner, and it was ready in 10-15 minutes as promised. The staff was friendly and my only disappointment in the store was that they did not have lemonade. The food was pretty inexpensive. I got two (small to medium) pieces of chicken, fries, coleslaw, ketchup, and hot sauce for less than ten bucks. The pluses: the food came out steaming hot and stayed hot till I got home to eat it. The chicken was crispy and salty. The hot sauce was good, almost like tapatillo (or is it tapatio?) or frank's red hot but not quite as tangy. The coleslaw was ok, but I'm not a huge slaw fan anyway. The minuses: the fries were just ok. Don't know why, but I didn't like them much. The order contained no white meat, like I had requested. On another day that might have bothered me. The chicken seemed to ONLY be seasoned with salt, and could have used a more flavorful batter. It seems that they fry all of their menu items in the same oil because my dinner did smell ever so slightly fishy. The chicken hit the spot anyways cuz it was hot and super crispy. I'd go back to this Happy's again to try their wings, but will probably stick with Tomatoes a Pizza, Buddy's, and Jets for pizza and KFC for fried chicken for now.

Great selection of food. Not just pizza here. I have had great service every time I have gone there they always have good coupons that make the prices very affordable. The crust of the pizza is sweeter than some but it is pleasent in my opinion. The delivery and front counter guys are very efficient and cordial. overall a good generic pizza with excellent other food if you have someone at home that doesnt want pizza

Ohh... kaayyyy.... hot dogs in a pizza joint? Well, lemme tell ya - dang! We have been barkin' up the wrong tree. Stopped to get his n hers cheepy hair cuts at Great Cuts in the shopping mall on the NW corner of 14 and OLR. (Ask for La - he gives really good haircuts!) Walking back to the car I see a sign in the window of Happy's Pizza- hot dogs. Now - I am not the devotee of tube steak delights like my boyfriend is, so I point it out to him. Want lunch, I say? He says, sure, let's try. What can we say? Nathan's hot dogs, grilled to order - done a half-dozen different ways and plopped into a very nice poppy seed bun. BF has tried the NJ slaw dog and the Chicago dog. Six dollar lunch deal includes fries and a canned drink. He LOVED 'em! Now if they could just do a dog with mustard, onion and sauerkraut, BF would be eating there once a week, I bet! My tummy can't handle but a bite or two so I settle for a turkey sub, which is quite good. Again, nice bread and fresh ingredients. But those two bites were very good - tasty dog, nice snap, juicy... good toppings. So, I suppose we will try the pizza sometime? I think so, especially since while we were there on our first visit to dog-dom - "Uncle" Charlie came in and decided to lay a $3 coupon on us. Cool!!
